youth director Debbie Westrate-Stapert - Youth Ministry Director

Debbie graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelors of Social Work degree. She, along with her husband Tim Stapert, lived and worked in the Chicago-area until God called her to work at Oakwood. Debbie has been working as the youth ministry director at Oakwood since the fall of 2008. Debbie's goal for the youth ministry program at Oakwood is to help guide the youth into deep, personal relationships with God, and to help cultivate within them a bold conviction for Christ Jesus and a passion to live a life of service and obedience to God. Debbie works alongside a youth ministry team to help these goals come to fruition, God willing.
